BUFVC Learning On Screen Award Winner 2008 Our TV series, FLIRT ENGLISH has just won the BUFVC Learning on Screen Award (Courseware and Curriculum)

'FLIRT ENGLISH'. A 12-part 2-hour mini-drama for WDR Cologne, a major German public broadcaster. The series was written, directed and filmed by Footstep in Germany over a 5-week period. The programmes tell the story of two London girls and two boys from Cologne who make friends and have a great time in the process. 'Flirt' is a unique language-learning format created by Footstep.

The EBU invited us to give a masterclass at the Eurovision Summit in Lucerne in 2007 about the 'Flirt' language-learning format.

'SPANISH SHORTS'. A 30-minute Spanish-language-learning segment for BBC Education featuring a group of bilingual high school students in Madrid.

'LE CHÂTEAU FALFAS'. An on-line segment about a Bordeaux vineyard for one of London's leading on-line marketing agencies.

'FRANK'. The filming of an on-line segment for a UK government drug awareness campaign.

'FLU'. An online segment about flu symptoms for a major pharmaceutical company.

'ENGLISH AT YOUR FINGERTIPS'. A series of improvised doc-drama segments for the Cambridge University Language Centre in use around the world as part of a state-of-the-art English course.

AUDIO PROJECTS in French, German, English and Spanish for five UK-based international publishers.

'LISTOS.' Video segments shot in Madrid for a CD-ROM and interactive whiteboard project for a UK publisher.

'JUNIOR CULP KIDS TALKING' A promo in support of a radical, award-winning language-learning programme for UK schools devised by Cambridge University Language Centre.

HEALTH AND SAFETY training packages for BBC TV.

'CUTE'. A documentary shot in Beijing supporting Cambridge University's 2-year eLearning programme for China.

'FLIRT SPANISH' A short pilot commissioned and funded by the UK government to show how our 'Flirt' concept will hook reluctant language learners in UK secondary schools.
