I trained as a professional actor at the Drama Centre London and have worked in theatre, film, television and radio for over 25 years.
I am also probably one of the original members of the Footstep Family!
I got my first audio job with Footstep in 1992, following a business call with Colette. Instead of the formal producer I was expecting to find, I came face to face with a friendly professional and we got the job done with ease and humour! Colette and I clicked instantly and have worked regularly together ever since. Over the years, my skills have truly been put to the test, as I have voiced, narrated, presented, sung, assisted and laughed in several languages!
As an associate artist of Pascal Theatre Company, I have performed in several acclaimed productions since the early 1990’s and in May 2015, won an award for best female performer for my role as Joan in St Joan by Julia Pascal at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival.
As a multilingual voice artist my work varies from recording multimedia guides for museums worldwide to commercials and educational projects, among others. My language and presenting skills also led me to become an interpreter in the film industry and proudly, to be the Live French announcer for the Aquatic Events at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
As a casting adviser to Footstep for nearly 10 years, I source and audition young actors for audio and visual projects. It’s a joy to work with talented young people who develop into confident adult actors and become part of the Family. I particularly relished the recent opportunity to get back in front of the camera (and into hilarious costumes!) with two gifted teenagers to film the French “In My Head” series with Footstep Productions.
