I trained at the Drama Centre London. Straight out of drama school, I was cast in the awward winning British feature film, Demon. I went on to work opposite Jason Watkins and Julian Rhind-Tutt on To Leech, a shorty comedy for BFI London and appeared on stage in The Fantastical Adventure Of (NOT) Being with You. The show was a success with the critics and I got great praise for my "physical inventiveness and abilities"!
My next exciting adventure was playing a young German student in the TV series Flirt English 2, for WDR Germany, produced by the award-winning Footstep Productions. The series was filmed in Brighton and was a truly unique experience. The cast and crew really became a close knit family and I'm very proud to have been part of the project. Footstep Productions understand extremely well, how to produce educational content and achieve a huge enterntainment factor at the same time, which is truly fulfilling for me as an actor.
In 2014, I was cast as a main character in the new German TV Sketch Comedy, The Unlikely Events in the Life of.... , which was nominated for the Grimme-Preis, the most prestigious award in German Television. Following the success of the pilot episode, I was then offered a role in Abschussfahrt, a major new German feature film. Back in London, I appeared on stage in two world premieres at the Arcola Theatre: Shrapnel and the sell out hit Clarion.
My self-penned web comedy series, Points of You, won the German National Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2014, awarded by the European Parliament.
Oh yes - and when I can, I still do voice work with Footstep, or pop in just to catch up for a coffee.
