Filmed in Spain, London, Guatemala, and the refugee camps of the Western Sahara, this ground-breaking series followed a real project that links children from different countries and backgrounds, through emails, painting, photography and meetings. The answers to simple questions, such as, "What do you eat?" will surprise and sometimes shock - "Whatever we find on the rubbish dump...", "Whatever is sent via humanitarian aid". Voces Españolas has been used not only for Spanish teaching, but also widely across the curriculum, including for Peace Studies.
Footstep Productions continues to support the Fotokids/Out of the Dump project in Guatemala. If you would like to sponsor a child or get involved in the project please get in touch with us.
